Meet Shayan Nasir

Hello, and Assalam-o-Alaikum.

I’m Shayan Nasir, the founder and primary author here at CSSAspirant.com.

I am not just a blogger; I am a dedicated CSS aspirant, just like you. My home is Sadiqabad, a key city in Punjab located right on the border of Sindh. My mission for this site is simple: to share the valuable, first-hand experience I’ve gained over five years on this challenging but rewarding journey.

My CSS Journey & Experience

My ambition to join the Central Superior Services (CSS) of Pakistan began in 2020. This passion for a career in the civil service has shaped every decision I’ve made since.

My quest for the best preparation led me first to the University of Karachi. After a year, I moved back closer to home and enrolled at the GC University Faisalabad, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

This field of study was a deliberate choice. It aligns perfectly with the CSS syllabus and has given me a strong academic foundation. More importantly, it has allowed me to learn practically from my professors and colleagues, drawing valuable lessons from their real-world experiences.

My Preparation & Expertise

As any serious aspirant knows, this exam requires a tough, consistent routine. For me, that work happens every day.

After my lectures, you would most likely find me in one of GC University’s excellent libraries. I spent hours in the “Fatima Jinnah Library,” the “Niel Armstrong Library,” or the “Islamiyat Block Library,” which is famous for its collection of Islamic and Urdu literature.

My daily routine involves a deep dive into newspapers like Dawn and The Economist, alongside countless other books, to prepare myself for the high standards of the CSS exam.

Why I Created This Blog

When you have been an aspirant for nearly five years, you learn things you can’t find in any single book.

We all know the biggest hurdle for many is the English Essay. This exam demands constant practice and forces you to become a better, more analytical writer. Through this process, I have developed my own writing skills, and I am proud to be a regular article contributor to my university department’s magazine.

I created CSSAspirant.com to share this hard-earned experience with my fellow aspirants. I am on this path with you. My goal is to provide a trustworthy, practical, and honest resource based on real, daily effort.

A Note From Our Team

I also want to take a moment to acknowledge that this site isn’t just a solo effort. While I am the primary author and a dedicated aspirant, I am supported by a small, passionate team. They assist me with research, editing, and ensuring the site runs smoothly. This collaboration is crucial in helping me deliver high-quality, reliable content to all our fellow aspirants.

Connect With Me

I believe in transparency and community. You can verify my work and connect with me on my professional profile.
